We help authors make their books available and sell to their audience, all in digital form.

Are Self Published ebooks cheaper?

Most of the time, Yes. That is Logic, the fewer people in the chain, the lower the production costs and end price.

What format do the Self Published ebooks have?

The ebooks are in Epub format. None of our ebooks have DRM. You can read the ebooks on most ereaders. Check your ebook reader device specifications, before you buy.

Who can publish books on EreadersRus?

Everyone who has written a book or other content like an Essay, Article, Poem or any other text can publish with us. When you send us your content we do check it and hold the right to refuse inappropriate material. You do not have to be a published author to publish with us. As long as you hold the rights to the content you want to publish.

I’m an Author – what percentage of the sale price will I get?

You get eighty per cent (80%) on every sale.

Are there any other cost involved?

From every sale we keep $0.20 for administration/credit card cost.

What price do you recommend I sell my ebook for?

That is entirely up to you. We recommend to price your ebook between $0.99 – 9.99, but it is your choice.

What do I earn when you sell my book?

Example; your book sells for $4.99 and is sold 20 times this month.

You earn; 80% of 20 x $4.99 = $79.84 minus administration cost 20 x $0.20 = $4.00. Total earnings $75.84

Why publish with EreadersRus Self-Pub?

Why not, you have nothing to lose. You retain all rights to your content, and you may publish them elsewhere as well.

How long would I have to stay with you?

As long as you like, there is no minimum. It’s a non-exclusive agreement, so you can publish elsewhere at the same time if you like.

 Do I have to own the rights for the content I’m publishing with you?

Yes. You can’t sell something on our website that you do not own. If you have published somewhere else you have to check your contract with them if you are allowed to publish somewhere other than with that publisher.

When I publish my book with you, can I also publish my book somewhere else?

Yes. It’s your content, so feel free to publish it anywhere else.

What format ebooks do you publish?

EPUB or PDF. We prefer Epub because it is the industry standard and works with most ereaders.

Will my ebooks have DRM applied?

No, they will not.

How and when will I get paid?

You’ll be paid monthly after the end of the month, if your total earnings are more than $10. If they aren’t, the earnings will roll over to the following month. Payment is done via internet banking.

How will I know how many books I’ve sold (or have been downloaded)?

You’ll get an email after the end of every month detailing sales and/or downloads.

Can I publish any length of ebook/content?

Yes, from one page to a few thousand as long as it is in the correct format.

Can I publish previously unpublished works?

Yes, as long as you own the rights.

 Is any content welcome?

Yes, within reason. We will check the content before we start selling it. Offensive or illegal content, as also referred to by the ACMA and under the “Broadcasting Services Act 1992” as well as sexual explicit content will not be published by us.

What if someone complaints about the published content?

We will investigate any complaint and when grounded or in doubt, remove the content from our website.

How else can I earn money through your website?

We will soon start an affiliate program. Sign up and earn up to 10% of the sales that is generated trough the affiliate.

Do I have to sign a contract?

We will send you a one page contract, mainly to let you confirm that you own the rights to the content.

I have the content as text, not Epub?

That is not a problem. You can convert the ebook to an Epub file yourself or you can ask us to do it for you. If we do it for you, we will deduct $50 of your earnings for helping out.

Do you expect anything else from me?

Tell everyone about us!!  The more people know about us the better for both of us. Tell people that they can buy your book on our site. The best way to generate more sales of your book is to place a link on your own website, blog, face book, twitter, anywhere.  You will be amazed how many people start buying if the price is right.
