Adobe Digital Editions

Digital Editions is the only software which allows downloading of DRM protected EPUB books. The most common book standard. 

Before downloading you will need to create a Digital Editions login, please note that the books you buy will be registered to this login. Your ereader can be authorized for usage under this account. Just connect your ereader to your PC when the Adobe Digital Editions has been installed and started. Please wait up to 15 minutes for this authorization process, Digital Editions might look to be "not responding" but this is normal for the first use. Once the ereader is authorized it is time to load some books on the PC. For more details on adobe digital editions see the help files

Calibre Ebook Management software

The preferred software for independent book management is the Calibre software which can be downloaded at: http://calibre.kovidgoyal.net/download

Once the software is downloaded and installed, connect the ereader and it should be automatically recognized in the Calibre software. The software will take 5 till 15 minutes to get an overview on the books on your ereader.

The calibre software can download RSS feeds (al the major newspapers) at any time. The choice of papers can be selected from the pre-installed menu “fetch news” and convert the articles in EPUB format.

Mobipocket is outdated software which is currently not the most popular software. Please note that mobipocket DRM is only supported on the old BeBook One with dedicated firmware. You can download the Mobipocket software from http://www.mobipocket.com/dev/beta/desktop.asp, make sure you download the 6.2 beta build 614 version. Upon installation of the software, start the application from the start button (you will find it under mobipocket.com tab). Now it’s time to add the bebook to your list of devices.
